Former Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has congratulated the new Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf.
At the swearing in ceremony held at the Supreme Court Abuja on Tuesday, Idris described baba-Yusuf’s elevation as a product hard work, high level integrity, commitment to duty and service.
The former Governor wished the new Chief Judge a memorable tenure that will impact on the judicial system in the entire country.
Also, the Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, charged public officers in positions of authority to demonstrate exemplary leadership and leave good legacies while in office.
The monarch gave the charge during a reception held in honour of the newly sworn FCT Chief Justice.
He called on highly placed persons in the society to serve as role models as displayed by Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf.
He commended the jurist for his perseverance, hard work and dedication to duty that made way for his current elevation.
The monarch wished him success in his career, and prayed to God to continue to guide him in piloting the affairs of the judiciary in the Federal Capital Territory.
