UniJos Alumni Hold Security Lecture in Honour of Kogi Monarch August 26

The University of Jos Alumni Association, Kogi State chapter, is set to host its distinguished alumni lecture series in honour of some of her distinguished members commencing from 26th August 2021.

In a release signed by the Chairman, lectures and academics partnership committee, Dr. Aurelius Omali, the association had fixed Thursday 26th August, 2021 for a special distinguished alumni lecture in honour of His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Abdulrazak Isah Koto, the Ohimege Igu of Koton Karfe and Chairman of the Lokoja/Kogi Area Traditional Council at the Ohimege Palace in Kotokarfe in Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State by 10am prompt.

The lecture aimed at creating awareness amongst the members of the tradition institutions across all levels on security with the topic, ‘The Role Traditional Institution in Security Intelligence’ is to be delivered by Professor E. B. Ejalonibu, a lecturer with the Federal University Lokoja and also the Kogi State Director of the Department of State Services.

The event promises to be a gathering of critical stakeholders in security in the state with key invited members of the traditional institutions.
