Bagaji-Odo Ward APC Leader Dumps Party for PDP in Omala

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Omala local government area of Kogi state, Emmanuel Ibrahim, has defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Receiving Ibrahim, a formidable APC leader in Bagaji-Odo ward, the Chairman of PDP in Omala local government area, Jeremiah Adaji praised the dogged politician for taking the bold step.

He described Ibrahim, popularly known as ‘Complete’, as a worthy son of the soil.

He said PDP, under the leadership of former Governor Ibrahim Idris, is a party of the past, present and future.

Speaking on the defection, a leader of the party in Omala said the electoral challenges faced by PDP Bagaji-Odo ward in the past are now over with Ibrahim’s defection.

He hinted that more decampees are expected before the 2023 general elections.

Hon. Emmanuel Ibrahim promised to bring his political experience to bear in his new found love.

Ibrahim said he feels elated and fulfilled in PDP.
