Former House of Reps member who represented Okene /Ogori/Magongo constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Abdulazeez Idris King celebrates with Muslim Ummah across Kogi State, for the completion of Ramadan fast, enjoining them to imbibe the spirit of togetherness and be fervent in prayers for the land and nation at this trying time.
In his message, he urged the people to put into practice lessons learnt during the Ramadan period to continue offering prayers for peace, unity, prosperity, and rapid development at all levels of governance in the country.
He appealed for peaceful co-existence amongst others irrespective of their faith and religion, noting that development could only thrive in a peaceful environment.
Hon King prayed to God to bestow on every citizen of Kogi State good health and also offered prayers to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and all other stakeholders in the New Direction government.
“I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to uphold the vital lessons of love, peace and perseverance which the holy month teaches and continue praying for our leaders to remain focus in the discharge of their duties for the overall interest of our state and Nigeria.”
