A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Prince Dayo Akanmode has described the recent appointment of Professor Olu Obafemi as the chairman, governing council, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State as reward for patriotism and scholarship.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Tuesday, Akanmode stated that President Muhammadu Buhari has made a good choice with the appointment of Obafemi.
Akanmode, a 2023 Kogi governorship aspirant, hailed Prof Obafemi’s immense contributions in education, community development and governance.

This appointment is no doubt a reward for excellence, sacrifice, patriotism and scholarship.
