Member representing Ankpa federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has redeemed his promise of a generator set to the United Evangelical Church (UEC), Ankpa.
He made the redemption during a thanksgiving service to mark the last Sunday of the year 2020 held at the church headquarters in Ankpa.
While welcoming the Federal lawmaker, Rev. Jacob Apeh recalled that Hon. Halims had made promise of a generator set to the church during the 2019 election campaign and was in the church to redeem his promise.
In their vote of thanks, Elder Dr. Emmanuel Agenyi and Elder Barr. John Okpanachi who are the church chairman and secretary respectively, thanked Hon Halims for making his word his bond.
In his earlier remarks, Rep Halims thanked the church for their endless prayers and supports to him during and after the election noting that save for his human fallibility, he would have long delivered the generator and assured the congregation of more dividends.
Highlight of the day was special prayers, offered by the Church elders for God to keep protecting, directing and elevating Hon Halims in all his endeavor.
