O the tears I shed today as I watched them.
They came out to get what belongs to them
Stored away from them by the people leading them.
Then I heard about Omachi
I still don’t believe it
But it is true.
Omachi from Ogodo, He came to Lokoja from Ankpa
He wanted a better life for himself and his siblings
He searched for a job and got none
Lost his father and had to struggle to survive
Omachi got a bike and became an Okada man
This very articulate and intelligent Ankpa son became a commercial motorcyclist in Lokoja to survive.
25/10/2020
He took a passenger to Kpata and behold saw the crowd
Rushing in to get their share of ”Covid 19 palliatives” they said
As the masses rushed into the warehouse to get what’s theirs
Omachi parked his bike and rushed in too.
Just a cartoon of noodles to sooth the pangs of hunger.
He was stampeded on…
He bleed, He died
Now his corpse is on the way to Ankpa.
The tears …. I weep… another young Nigerian.
Tell me politician;Are you satisfied?
