This is the thought that seem to have fueled Hajiya Musili’s intention to hijack what rightfully belong to Okene II constituents. It is no longer news that the state ruling party, All Progressives Congress, has declared its intention to field female vice chairmanship candidates across the 21 local government in the upcoming council election but a certain person somewhere is deliberately making frantic efforts to make mockery of this good intention by the party.
Hajiya Musili has decided to politically arm-twist the people of Okene II constituency because she feel she enjoy the support of the Governor.
This is a ticking time bomb in the upcoming Okene local government chairmanship election scheduled to hold come December 2020.
A certain set of people are about to be shortchanged on the altar of greed and self aggrandizement and it is high time we speak up against this ill conceived intention.
For record purpose, I wish to state categorically once again that Hajiya Musili Ahmed Dahiru is not from Okene II constituency, she is on a greedy quest to circumvent what is rightly meant for Okene II constituents and if truly the State Government and the ruling party is sincerely willing to zone the Okene Local Government vice chairmanship position to Okene II constituency, the Government should have a rethink before giving the slot to the wrong candidate.
Aside the obvious fact that Hajiya Musili’s husband, Hon. Ahmed Dahiru Amewuru is a serving member of Kogi State House of Assembly, the woman in question is the All Progressive Congress Kogi Central Woman Leader. If not arrant wickedness fueled by insatiable greed, how do you still nurture the guts to contest for a position that has been outrightly zoned to another constituency?
For the umpteenth time, we want the world to bear witness to this undoubting fact that Hajiya Musili is not from Okene II Constituency and it will be a slap on Okene II people if a position meant for them is given to her.
She has been parading herself as the anointed Okene local government vice chairmanship candidate by the Governor and we consider this as a slap on the people of Okene II constituency.
I am urging the State Government and the ruling party the All Progressive Congress to come out open and clear the air on this mischievously conceived wicked treatment about to be meted on people of Okene II constituency. Let it be known and let it stand that Hajiya Musili is on a selfish quest at the detriment of Okene II constituents.
History will never be kind to the State leader of the ruling party, Governor Yahaya Bello if he erroneously give out a position meant for Okene II constituents to someone from Okene I constituency, it will amount to double jeopardy to justice, equity and fairness that he always preached.
The All Progressive Congress cannot zone the Chairmanship slot to Okene I constituency and still have the vice chosen from the same constituency, this is out of sync with the preaching of his excellency about equity and fairness.
We am calling on the political leader of Okene II constituency, the Kogi State Accountant General in person of Hon. Jibril Jimoh to wade into this political robbery, you are the eye and ear of Okene II constituents in the new direction government and the onus is on you to defend and guard what is meant for your people, do not let some desperate political jobbers make a lasting bad impression of you to your people. Please stand up and fight this fight for us. We cannot have you in the New Direction Government and watch people take from us what is rightly meant for our people.
The whole world is keenly watching to see how this desperate act of chicanery will play out, we might forget too soon but history will never forget and will never be kind to masterminds of this hanky panky political manipulation.
