Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole, Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly has received with sadness the news of the shocking and sudden demise of Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello, mother of Governor Yahaya Bello after a brief illness.
He described her death at this time as a great loss not only to the Bello family but the entire state as her words of wisdom and support will be greatly missed.
He said Hajia Hauwau Oziohu Bello was a virtuous woman who through her commitment and hard work was able to nurture and bring up a son like Governor Yahaya Bello, whose contributions has reshaped the political landscape of the state.
He charged her entire family members to uphold the legacy of her hard work, tolerance and perseverance as the vacuum created by her demise with be hard to fill.
He prayed that God will grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
