It is a known fact, to all breeds of the Igala extraction, that our land is faced with all manners of ills owing to some negative circumstances, practices, events, attitudes and so on prevalent over the years.
The attending consequences of the mentioned menace have threatened our oneness as a people, and also rendered us racially valueless in all wise, anything with a touch of good seems to be eluding us as a people.
A lot of disaffection in different colours have come to distort, distract and retard our over all progress as a people, avoidable animosities crept in and we all began to wonder aimlessly while others were strategically moving on, these cracks turned us against ourselves,to some extent as “enemies” thus making us to lose the genuine love we have for one another and instead allowed greed, unnecessary hate to permeates our polity.
We must rise up and kill this evil of dichotomies, as well as other menace before it finally annihilate or exterminate us as a people.
And in an attempt to proactively make sincere concerted and committed efforts towards redefining a course worthy of a guide in our march towards positive progress, we must:
Ensure that there is 100% forgiveness across board. We all may have offended each other in various ways, no matter the degree of offence, sincere forgiveness in the interest of our land is key, and very germane.
Exhibit true and genuine love for one another in the spirit of Ayegba Oma Idoko fraternal brotherhood; an unreserved love capable of stimulating the strongest of bond amongst as a people and ultimately as humans is the best of morale booster, we all must show this love consciously immeasurable. Our oneness as humans from a particular nativity counts the most.
Stop seeing faults and condemnation of our fellow being. We must make efforts to think collective positivism, rather than dissipating energies pulling ourselves down. Everything has it time and season, that its not your turn today does not mean your time will never come, patience and prayers remains the most potent weapon.
Know our next door neighbours. That is the best way to tackle or checkmate the menace of cultism and other insecurity challenges. Local vigilantes should also be encouraged and supported while parents should make out time to monitor their wards, parental upbringing is key.
Be able to tell ourselves the honest truth, irrespective of who or what conditions and circumstances. The need for bluntness is a necessity, if we must pull along positively.
That an appraisal is contemplated on the unfortunate political events in the last concluded election, with a view to putting an end to it reoccurence. A new dawn is here, its not about partisan politics at the moment but a renaissance movement aimed at restoring the dignity of our people and race.
Once we are able to radiates the above, positive progress will come naturally.
To this end, a reinaisance movement is on. Greater Ane Igala is possible.
