Prof Egwu Lauds Edward Onoja for Spearheading Igala Renaissance

The Resident Electoral Commissioner for Niger State, Prof Sam Egwu has commended the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon Edward Onoja for his role in spearheading the renaissance of overwhelming development in Igalaland.

He said Hon Onoja has continued to play key roles in furtherance of advancement in socio-cultural development through various interventions in several spheres of endeavours.

Prof Sam Egwu who made the commendation in Jos, Plateau State at the celebration of 2019 University of Jos Day by Igala Students Association, noted that the Chief of Staff’s commitment to ensuring success of several Igala Projects was worthy of note and deserving of his commendation.

He was particularly emphatic about the exemplary determination shown by Hon Onoja towards the completion of the Igala House Project in Anyigba, saying the project, among others, was one that would etched the name of the Igala son in the hearts of all worthy sons of the area.

While urging the Students to continue to be good ambassadors of Kogi State and Igala Kingdom, the professor of political science advised them to look up to leaders who cherish their culture, lead by example, and demonstrate commitment to accountability and probity.

He also expressed joy over the manner they were representing their land of origin, noting that all sons and daughters of the Kingdom were people of worthy emulation.
