Ohere, SSG Leads Kogi Govt Delegation on Condolence Visit to Ohinoyi of Ebiraland

The leader of Kogi Central political office holders and the Special Adviser to the Governor in charge of Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engr. (Dr) Abubakar Sadiq Ohere led a high powered state government delegation on a condolence visit to His Royal Majesty, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr. Ado Ibrahim over the untimely demise of his son, late Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim.

The late Prince died on Thursday 2019 at the prime age of 43 years.

In his condolence message, Engr. Abubakar Sadiq Ohere described the death as a great loss to humanity, saying the demise of such a promising young man is devastating and sad especially at this moment, Ebira nation and the State at large needs the services of such an intelligent young man.

The Governor’s representatives conveyed the State Government’s heartfelt and sincere sympathy to the Royal Father, saying the Government and People of Kogi State are with the Royal Family at this time of grief.

Engr. Ohere described His Royal Majesty as a father with tremendous wisdom and knowledge and therefore, prayed that Almighty Allah give him the fortitude to bear this great loss. He said, the entire people of Ebiraland will continue to pray for the Royal Father’s sound health and more years on earth to enable him continue to move Ebiraland forward.

Before leaving the Palace of His Royal Majesty, the delegation offered special prayers to Almighty Allah to accept the soul of late Abdulrahman, forgive his sins and grant him Aljanat Firdaus.

In the entourage were the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike (PhD); the Accountant General of the State, Alh. Jibril Momoh; the Commissioner for Water Resources, Barr. Abdulsalam Ozigi Deedat; DG Bureau of Information, Hon. Abdulkareem Abdulmaleek and other State Government Officials. The five (5) Administrators from Kogi Central were also in attendance at the Royal Palace.
