A former House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Abdulmumin Ohimine (Ohize Jnr) has commended Senator representing Kogi Central, Ahmed Ogembe for empowering 113 constituents with agri-business skills.
Ohimine gave the commendation while addressing beneficiaries of the Federal government agriculture programme on poultry farming at King Royal Luxury Hotel, Okene on Wednesday.
He hailed Ogembe for lobbying to include 113 beneficiaries in the agri-business programme.
Ohimine, who is the coordinator of the programme, said the empowerment in poultry farming will translate to economic improvement of the beneficiaries and their families.
He assured constituents that if re-elected, Ogembe will attract more Federal benefits to the people of Kogi Central senatorial district, adding that attracting such programs to district will trigger jobs creation, thereby improving their standard of living.
“When this first set of beneficiaries establish their poultry business and become productive, they will teach more people so that more people of the district will be gainfully employed and self-reliant,” he said.
He commended Senator Ahmed Ogembe for his foresight by bringing the program to his people.
