Recently, the entire cyber space especially the social media were awash with news that, the supporters of Natasha Akpoti, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi Central were now subject of attacks by the ruling APC government in the State.
On daily basis, pictures of destroyed banners, sign posts and in some cases wounded persons kept streaming on Facebook with no clear home addresses or political history that should ordinarily pose a threat to the ruling APC in the state as far as political contest is concern.
Amazingly, this will be immediately followed by press release from Abuja based Natasha with details of the alleged attackers, home addresses and phone numbers. How can this be possible within minutes of an attack claimed to be an ambush?
Hmmm…. Little did we know these were all gimmicks to hand wink the good people of Kogi Central, draw some sympathy and paint the government in bad light. No, no, young lady, this is too cheap to last long, the trick has been busted.
Sadly, this Natasha only weapon of politicking was created and handed over to her by Bukola Saraki and his media team. Wait a minute! You heard it right? Bukola Saraki, Madam Natasha’s new man (let’s leave the story for another day).
The incident that happened two days ago at Kuroko in Adavi Local Government Area was poorly handled by Mrs. sorry Ms. or if you like Miss (since she is very much available in the market) Natasha’s team and of course it backfired, exposing the dirty plans by the self-acclaimed messiah of the people of Kogi Central.
Unknown to many, mid-last year, Madam Natasha recruited young men as thugs who are currently on the payroll of one of her new found lover in Abuja. Muhammed Ibrahim and Tunde Ojo all of Kuroko ward in Adavi Local Government Area are some of the beneficiaries of her first ever youth empowerment scheme.
Mall. Isa Sadiq, the APC ward Chairman in Kuroko had issues with these notorious men who are reported to be drug peddlers, drug addicts and serial smokers disturbing the peace of the community. However, in the early hours of Wednesday, 9th January 2019, Mall. Isa Sadiq was attacked and beaten to a pulp under the cover that, he destroyed Natasha’s banner which had been placed inside the vicinity of their house for over two months. The victim is being treated at a private hospital.
As if the Kuroko mayhem wasn’t enough, this morning she made true her threat to make Kogi Central ungovernable by directing her attacks to Obeiba Ihima in Okehi LGA where the residence of a serving Commissioner for Water Resources, *Barr. Abdulsalam Ozigi Deedat* was her target.
SDP Natasha’s thugs conveyed in one of her branded assault bus by one Mouktar Atimah, the Governor’s wayward brother in-law resident in Eika Ohizenyi with phone number 08033117381 attacked the Hon. Commissioner’s residence. The quick intervention of the Police did not completely save the situation as the Natasha sponsored thugs took over the premises and drove home their earlier threats.
Onimisi Gabriel, a sacked banker and one of the thugs trainer with phone number 08037031638 was armed with a Petrol filled container tomorrow burn down the Commissioner’s residence. Other thugs in his company include but not limited to Thunder, No Shaking, Jam jam, Laposky and Nitel. It took the concerted efforts of the Police, residents and Community Leaders to avert what could have been a dark day in Ihima today, ably sponsored by Natasha and perpetrated by her trained hyenas. However, Mr Saka and Hadi who were resident in the Commissioner’s house weren’t lucky as they sustained injuries of various degrees.
Musa, a cousin to Natasha and one of her thugs who is presently at large was in possession of a Pump action rifle which he uses freely during the attack.
It’s pertinent to ask at this juncture that was it the Senate Natasha is interested in or the fulfilment of her threat to cause chaos and make Kogi Central ungovernable? With the recent developments and her style of attacks, the other three (3) LGAs in Kogi Central, Okene, Ajaokuta and Ogori/Magongo may soon be her guests.
We use this medium to notify the general public of her desperation and as well appeal to the Police, Army and other Security Agencies to come to our rescue as the “Steel Lady” as fondly called is causing turmoil of unimaginable proportion in Kogi Central.
