Security men in Bassa local government area of Kogi State are currently combing the area to fish out the killers of Modu Jimba who was beheaded in his farm at Bezhe-Odugbo near Mozum.
Reports has it that Mr Jimba went to his farm with his wife on Saturday November 10, 2018 to harvest his cassava.
While he was bent down to pull out the cassava he heard people shouting we have gotten him.
On hearing the noise he took to his heels with his wife. The killers were able to overpower him and beheaded him while the wife escaped.
As at the time of this report a call to the Divisional police officer at Oguma was not through due to network failure.
Reports however has it that the relations have reported the incidence to police post at Oguma.
At the moment there are fears of reprisal attacks following the continued suspicious on violence among the Bassas and Igburra.
