A governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Idris has been described as the right man to lead Kogi State.
The secretary of Kogi West Youth Alliance (KWYA), Olufemi Temitope, made this known in a press statement issued in Lokoja on Thursday.
Temitope posited that Abubakar, the first son of former governor Ibrahim Idris is well groomed for the task of re-positioning Kogi state.
According to the youth leader, the next governor of Kogi state must be one with the necessary qualities to bail the state out of its present economic predicament.
Kogi state, he pointed out, would be better for it if Alh. Abubakar Idris becomes the next governor. He urged the people to assess him from the perspectives of what he can offer and has offered to people of the state over time
Temitope called on the youths to see the aspiration of Alh Abubakar Idris as one geared towards employment generation, economic empowerment and the filfillment of the future past leaders clamoured for over the years.
He said the Kogi West Youths Alliance has collated over 300,000 signatories of youths from the western senatorial district who are in support of Alh. Abubakar Idris and assured electorates that Idris’ administration will touch lives and ensure well motivate civil service in the state.
