It was a revolutionist and great musician Bob Marley who said – “Live for yourself and you will live in vain; Live for others, and you will live again.”
It is on this premise coupled with pleasure that I announce once again that the member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu has officially declared to seek reelection. The honorable’s stewardship so far has been a somewhat of edutainment with promising purposes and inspiring fulfillment in the form of an exemplary standard above rivalry.
Hon Rabiu’s story in politics symbolizes that of a young promising and adventurous lad who despite the challenges encountered remain optimistic and determined to transform obvious disadvantages into enviable advantages and eventually, emerged as a phenomenal stock worthy of emulation.
Between 2015 and now that he was elected into the state house of assembly, many people from different communities in Ankpa 2 constituency have directly benefited from his reign in the form of academic scholarship, health interventions, entrepreneurship developments, direct assistance, corporate interventions, influencing of gainful employment as well as recommendations.
Despite his prominent background, his political surgeon can be likened as a grass to grace narrative considering his years of denial. He despite physical and influential assaults rose from sociopolitical persecution to socioeconomic executions geared towards the greater good of his people so much that anyone conversant with his political ordeal will affirm that nothing is unachievable if aspired.
So, his seeking for another term of office is just a manifestation of God’s favor upon the good people of Ojoku and Enjema districts of Ankpa local government area of Kogi state. It suffices to say therefore that may God continue to shower him with endless mercies, boundless wisdom and unfathomable guidance to carry everyone along.
Having in the period under review displayed immeasurable leadership acumen, uncommon political dexterity, administrative resilience, parliamentary maturity, unequalled legislative record and requisite know how of public responsibility; it is in the best interest of Ankpa II constituency to rally round him and ensure he is reelected without stress.
Indeed, Hon Rabiu has lived for others and so deserves to live again.
