A former member House of Representatives (Okene/Ogori-Mangogo), Honorable Abdulaziz Idris King has donated bags of rice plus cash to the disabled as part of his widow’s might during the festive period.
He also made available foods stuff and cash to party faithfuls.
In a press release made available to media houses, Honorable King appealed to Muslims to extend sallah visitation to less privileged homes, hospitals in the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir.
Speaking during a visit to the physically challenge in Okene, King said: “during a time like this, it is really important to to remember the destitute and those who can not afford buying food for their families to celebrate the sallah.”
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his relentless fight against criminal elements in Kogi state and urged all to cooperate with the government to get rid off crimes in the state.
He appealed to the people to remain calm and focus as the present administration has all it takes to move the state to the next level of development.
