Julius Olushola Abel, aspirant Mopamuro State constituency, Kogi State House of Assembly has charged Muslims to imbibe the virtues of faith and sacrifice.
Abel gave the charge while felicitating with Muslims on the occasion of this years Sallah.
“Congratulations to all human for witnessing this day, most especially those of the Muslim faith.
“The celebration of Eid-El-Kabir is that of faith and sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
“In the spirit of celebration, everyone is expected to live up to the lessons thought by the life style of Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail, which is faith and sacrifice. Our nation can only witness the supposed growth and development if we can be more godly than religious by following the foots step of the Prophets as outlined in our Holy Books.
“Developed world that we sought after today have had their trying times before they came up to standard, they have faith and sacrificed for the development they enjoy and doing same to sustain.
“Special congratulations goes to all Muslims in Kogi State in particular and Nigeria as a whole”, the statement concluded.
