The Old Direction Governments in Kogi State ran a Government with ugly policies along with an environment that had eczema all of the towns, streets and villages, Chief of them Lokoja, the state capital.
Recently, we have seen the beautification of a once ugly town wearing a look of a fast growing cosmopolitan city.
From the street lights that bests Ganaja Junction down to Zone 8, with the other end down to Paparanda square beams with light at night which has extended the city economic activities as well as it sights.
Many of the portholes across the Lokoja metropolis is getting filled up with patches on the contour areas all from the state owned KOGROMA.
We have also seen the old roundabouts which were like animated shrines, demolished with newer ones erected depicting the flag and color of Kogi State. I believe this is a gradual master plan for totally giving the state capital a face lift. The Government of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has amongst many things displayed that he has a taste that can be unrivaled.
