As 2019 is gradually approaching, the political tussle ongoing and the best solution that will give the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) power of regaining it’s lost glory must however start from the grassroots.
For PDP members, the evident determination as the opposition to wrestle Federal power from the APC at all cost should make all PDP members rise to the challenge of making their party more attractive to the majority of Nigerians mostly people at the grassroots.
If PDP must survive as a frontline political party in today’s Nigeria, it must reform itself and embrace democratic ethos completely. And to achieve these, the leadership must be made up of Strong youths men and women who are versed in the knowledge of both political laws and human relationship as well as cerebral enough to conform themselves to international best practices and rules of democratic governance.
The era of iron- handed leadership is gone and this is a global reality. Any government, political party or institution that fails to key into the new world order is doomed.

Another quality that marks Hon Prince Yakub Yakub out among all the various politicians is his readiness at all times to make compromises and sacrifices for the sake of peace, his party and for his constituency , and most importantly the overwhelming support he enjoys in his constituency.
Having considered all the candidates asking for the job of member kogi state house of Assembly Ankpa 1 constituency under the platform of the People Democratic Party , I have come to the conclusion that only Hon Prince Yakub Yakub of the PDP possess the right mentality, competence, readiness and moral amplitude to lead his constituency to achieve something great.
