Senator Ahmed Ogembe representing Kogi central senatorial district has described the death of the member representing Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency as a huge loss to Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
In a statement made available to reporters in Abuja through his media aide, where he described the death of the House of Reps member, Hon. Buba Jubril as shocking and unfortunate. He said the demise has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
“It’s very shocking to wake up to learn the demise of Hon Buba Jibril at the early hours of today.
“He was a complete gentle man, a philanthropist and a brilliant politician who did his best to strengthen democracy by ensuring that politics is played by engaging and abiding by the rule of the game.”
“His exit at this time is painful, unfortunate and a huge lost to not only the people of Lokoja/Kogi, but Kogi state and Nigeria in general,” the statement read.
Senator Ahmed Ogembe urged the immediate family, the people of Lokoja/Kogi and all the supporters of the deceased to take solace in God because the late law maker lived a philanthropic and successful life.
He prayed that God grant the departed a peaceful repose and bless the loved ones he left behind.
