The former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Lokoja I State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Umar Ahmed Imam described the painful death of Rt. Hon. Buba Jibril as a great loss.
In a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Yakubu Ali, and made available to news men, Rt. Hon. Imam condole the Maigari of Lokoja and the Ohimege Igu as well as the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Imam described Buba, the Deputy Majority Leader of the 8th House of Representatives, as a great leader in Lokoja and Kogi Federal Constituency and indeed, Kogi State.
The former Speaker, while further commiserating with the immediate family of the member representing Lokoja and Kogi Federal Constituency, described the late Federal Lawmaker as a “Statesman and a brother”.
He said Rt. Hon. (Arc.) Umar Buba Jibril will be greatly missed by the people of his Constituency, the State and the Nation at large.
