The House of Representative Aspirant seeking to represent Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Hon. Daniel One Ejigbo has condemned the recent killings at Ogane Nigu in Dekina Local Government area of the state by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
In a press statement, Hon Ejigbo called on the State and Federal Governments to put all security apparatus together to prevent further occurrence.
He sympathized with the people and prayed the souls of the departed rest in peace. He also thanked the state government, traditional council, all sons and daughters of Dekina for their quick response to the victims.
He further called on the government to set up a commission of inquiry to look into the cause of the crisis and bring the culprits to book as to the best of his knowledge both the indigenes of Ogane Nigu and Fulani have lived in harmony for years.
He also urged the government to increase the overall security in the state to avoid another round of attacks.
Hon Ejigbo thanked the people of Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency for their hospitality and spirit of accommodation and urged them not to deter in their humane attitude as a result of the Ogane Nigu scenario.
