The House of Representatives is the second chamber in Nigeria’s bicameral legislature Which can also be referred as the Green Chambers. The National Assembly (NASS) is the nation’s apex legislature, whose powers to make laws is intricate in chapter one{1}, section four{4} of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution.
Almost all, if not all, of the political bigwigs in Dekina/Bassa Federal constituency have began lubricating their political apparatus and the people who have suffered gross neglect from federal government due to poor representation on the other hand are clamouring on who the hat best fit and who wears it come 2019.
Political participation and credible governance as regards Legislature is defined by the active participation of the elected. The former must develop a justifiable nexus with the later in order to facilitate and develop attainable goals for the betterment of all and sundry in the constituency.
The candidacy of Comrade Johnson Musa in the forthcoming elections is a mandate gifted by the people and orchestrated by God. Leadership is always an ample opportunity to serve only if the best personnel are elected to serve in a sensitive office of this kind.
Comrade Johnson Musa is not just the most favoured candidate, but the one who will draw federal government’s attention to Dekina/Bassa federal constituency.
He has the prudent capacities and capabilities. The position of House of Representatives is too sensitive and delicate to be occupied by sleeping and mute politicians, especially when it is without argument that Dekina/Bassa federal constituency is far behind other constituencies across the state. Hence, with Comrade Johnson Musa’s emergence as the member representing Dekina/Bassa federal constituency, it will be a new dawn for the people of the constituency and a halt to federal government gross neglect because he is an intellectual with a cardinal motive to transform his constituency.
