Hon. James Faleke has been advised to face the task of representing Ikeja Federal constituency in the national assembly and perish the thought of contesting any election in Kogi state.
The Special Adviser on Political Matters to Ijumu Local Government Council Administrator, Hon Francis Babalola gave the advice while reacting to a press statement released by Faleke on Governor Yahaya Bello’s inability to deliver Kogi votes for President Muhammadu Buhari in next presidential elections.
Babalola, an indigene Ekinrin-Adde, said should the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives come to his country home, Ekinrin Adde Ward to contest “common councillorship election, he will fail woefully not to talk of any other elections of higher cadre.”
The Special Adviser, a political giant from same Ekinrin Adde where Faleke hails from, rated Governor Yahaya Bello’s popularity in Kogi state as the highest to any other politicians.
Babalola saluted the courage and boldness of Ijumu Local Government Administrator, Hon. Taufiq Isa for his relentless efforts towards delivering dividends of democracy in the local government council. He highlighted his strides in enhancing security of lives and properties across the length and breathe of Ijumu local government and  engagement in stomach infrastructures as laid down by his principal, Governor Bello.
He commended the quality representation dispensed and facilitation of developmental projects from the State government by member representing Ijumu Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon Adewale Victor Omofaiye, who is also from Ekinrin Adde community.
He advised Faleke to consult Omofaiye, whom he described as Ekinrin Adde’s political star, for tutorials on how to use one’s good office to better the lives of constituents.
“Hon Omofaiye has used his office as the then Chairman House Committee on Works at the Kogi State House of Assembly to facilitate series of developmental projects to Ijumu Local Government. The Ekinrin Adde – Ife Olukotun road, which is currently under construction was one of the projects facilitated by this lad from the people’s Governor to Ekinrin Adde.
“Faleke must stop selling cheap the integrity of the State he is desperate to govern for no reason. Power is given by God Almighty, not by anybody’s doing. Using all sorts of derogatory languages on the person of Governor Yahaya Bello is a desperate attempt to fight God and we all know the implication of pitching tent against God Almighty.
“I call on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare his ambition for 2019 general election to complete the already established ‘Sanitization of Nigeria Project’ which is aimed at freeing the nation from the shackles of financial misappropriation and gross mal-governance.

“The only person that can deliver Kogi State block votes for the President is the much loved Governor Yahya Bello. Governor Bello has laid a legacy that has surpassed any other government since the creation of Kogi State. In the areas of security of lives and properties, capacity building, creation of social investment programmes, construction and tooling of hospitals and sanitization of Kogi State civil service from the usual corruption ridden status are commendable achievements of Governor Bello which are in tandem with the presidential style of governance’ he said.

He thanked Governor Bello for the multi-million Naira Primary Healthcare Centers he sited in Ogale, Aduge, Odokoro and Ayeh Gbede, all in Ijumu local government area.
“The Governor, through the ministry of rural development, electrified Odokoro, Ogidi, Ayeh, Iyamoye, Aiyegunle and Iyara by giving them six brand new 33kv transformers and and also funded the installation. These are projects in Faleke’s local government. Criticising Governor Bello depicts hatred for development of Ijumu. These milestone achievements has given Governor Bello unprecedented popularity in Ijumu local government and the state at large that any President can ride upon to win elections.
“Also, Kogi State government’s agricultural revolution is yielding positive results with the commercial production of Confluence Rice. Ongoing construction of rural and urban roads across the state makes the Yahaya Bello government stand out when compared to previous administrations in the state.
“James Abiodun Faleke has forgotten that the victory recorded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the last general elections was based on the popularity of President Muhammadu Buhari. Faleke should quietly face the legislative responsibility bestowed upon him by Lagosians and shun denigration of the people-oriented government in Kogi State’ he added.
He promised total support of Okun people for Governor Bello.
