Kogi State Labour Party Chairman Suspended Indefinitely

Chairman, Kogi State chapter of Labour Party (LP), Alhaji Ibrahim Usman has been suspended indefinitely for gross incompetence and anti-party activities.

 

In a resolution signed by Secretary of the party, Enefola Abraham and nine members of the state executives, the suspended chairman was accused of trading the party’s Kogi Central senatorial ticket to the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for one million Naira.

 

According to the resolution, “the state executive council does not know the income and expenditure of the party. The chairman fraudulently administer the state funds alone without due process which is tantamount to fraud”

 

“All decisions of the party are solely taken with impunity, with no regards to the state executive council and respect for the constitution of the party”

 

“In view of the above, we the state executive council pass a vote of no confidence on Alhaji Ibrahim Usman and he is hereby suspended from office indefinitely”
