My sincere advise to Egwu is to be fair to history, forget about the blame game and do the work we sent him to do; to make law.
You may not be right to say Buhari stopped the project because it is in the middle belt; where are you facts. 30 years after Buhari scuttled this project what happened? You were at a time a secretary to PDP in kogi state, a party that was in power for sixteen years and thirteen years at the Federal and State levels respectively, please I want you to enlighten the public, the love your party has shown to us as a state both in National and state level for such a long time, mention one project that was executed within this period, to me it was a colossal waste. As a member of PDP and especially from kogi state, you are to bury your head rather than coming out to insight the people against a govt that is trying to re-wright the wrongs which your party arguably had the largest portion.
I’m very disappointed that a member of house of representative whom we sent to stand for our interest as a constituency is making such worrisome lamentations. If buhari did what you have accused and judge him of; 30 years ago and coincidentally he is now the president, what have you done through the leadership of the national assembly to lobby your way out in a way to see that the project become a reality.
For over a year, we hardly could remember that you are in the house because I can’t remember when I saw you contributing to any bill let alone sponsor any. You have simply been playing the “I sit down look” role in the house and I think you should be worried about your contributions rather than that of buhari. President Buhari is a politician and would be judge based on performance by the people who voted him in; (Nigerians) just the same way; we from your constituency will judge you for your actions and inactions. You have no justification to judge him especially with your unconvincing performance.
If I were Egwu, what I should do at this moment is to sponsor a bill that will compel the executive to do the ajaokuta project not to spread falsehood of what you have no proofs.
Is Hon. Emma envying us as a state, why this falsehood now that president Buhari is trying to work on the project. If he stopped it then and he is here again to revitalise it pls let it be. Make law to enforce such development or you risk being call back home.
