On behalf of the entire Kogi State Youths I wish to Congratulate the Hon. Speaker on this auspicious occasion of sacrifice and to reflect your magnanimity and sacrifice to the development of Kogi State.
In the spirit of the Eid of sacrifice we on this day recognize your unmatched stride to the upliftment and development of our dear state.
It is on record that we have never had a representative and a Speaker that is so open to the people as much as you. We have had Representatives and leaders but, the passion to lead and set pace starts with you.
Your developmental prowess is insurmountable. The new look of the Assembly Complex we have and yet couldn’t claim – is a pointer to your passion for the development of our people. So many leadership has emerged in that house and yet non deemed it fit to fit the structure with a restroom other than the speaker’s office’s, talk more of total renovation/refurbishing. An edifice, yet an eyesore.
Your leadership has restored the trust and hope of the common man on governance through the quality legislation of the state assembly – No wonder the house crisis resolved with you as the speaker. The constant call on the leadership of the screening exercise to expidite actions and pay the already screened workers in other to reduce the hardship in the land – this is no doubt a reflection of your touch with the welfare of the people at the grassroot.
Your emergence as the House of Assembly Member representing Lokoja 1 Constituency has redefined Democracy, Quality Representation and Leadership. For the first time in the history of Lokoja and Kogi State, the people were meant to understand and enjoy what Constituency allowance was. The ‘constituents self identified project’ embarked on by you through the Constituency project allowance is a landmark achievement that have distinguish you from the pack. With the meagerness of the resource and the fit it was able to achieve and benefit tge people further describe the purposefulness of your leadership.
The philanthropic nature of your person even before politics speaks volume. This rear spirit of given which is too much to mention the occasions depicts your love for humanity.
