In God’s supremacy, a circumstantial governor emerged. Inundated, what appears to be a sigh of heavy relief as a minority took over the leadership of Kogi State government, has turned to be a catastrophic, dejected and ignominious on the part of the populace irrespective of religious and tribal affiliation.

Prince Abubakar Audu of the blessed memory saw this coming, in one of the interview he granted to Mr. Chidi Ugwu, dated 10th August, 2015. He said “The level of devastation in Kogi State is not something that you should leave in the hands of inexperienced person who will learn on the job.

“It is not a job meant for a young man now because the state has taken a bad shape and at sorry stage. “Is it at this stage that you will leave it for somebody who is inexperienced or whosoever to bank on trial and error? This will be very dangerous for the state. This is why experience is required; somebody who has done it before, and has done it very well.

This was a problem that bedeviled us as at then, little do we realised that the problems will be compounded by inexperienced government of today. The level of poverty in Kogi State is at it peak, people are dying of hunger, inability to pay children school fees and the host of numerous problem.

What a hullabaloo for a state governor not to leave up to expectations? Please do the needful before it is too late.
