Kogi APC: Dino And Others Are Insincere – Abdulmalik

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kogi State, Mallam Suleiman Abdulmalik has accused Senator Dino Melaye and other APC leaders in the state of insincerity and undermining the state authority.

Abdulmalik who was reacting to an allegations of anti-party and appointments levelled against the State governor, Alh Yahaya Bello by the APC leaders in the state, advised the state governor to ignore them and remain focus in the task governance.

He added ” its not true that the governor appoints member of the opposition party into his cabinet, its a wild allegations.

“Most of the members of the so-called kangaroo disciplinary committee benefitted from the appointments made by the governor so far, SAs and even the SSG was nominated by them, if one is making allegations he or she should be careful. its also on record that one of the leader supported, financed an opposition ACCORD party in the last election, so what are we talking about?

“Governor Bello’s door are open to any genuine and honest talk and advice, that will benefits the state and not for pecuniary interest, champion by this leaders, who’s inordinate ambitions is to control the machinery and resources of the government against the elected governor”, he said.

He described most of the so-called disciplinary committee as Abuja politicians who are not to be taking serious having lost touch with the realities at home. They lack the constitutional power to constitute disciplinary committee against the governor, where do they derived their power from? as it stand its an illegal body and the governor must not appear before them, as doing so will amount to endorsing illegality.

He appealed to the APC National body to disregards them and their allegations, describing their action unconstitutional, lacking in merits and for selfish interest.

Abdulmalik said, the governor has achieved so much since assumed office especially in the areas of infrastructural development, workers welfare as well as uniting the people. etc.

He also commended the governor for renaming Kogi State University after late Prince Abubakar Audu as a mark of respect for the leader.
