Dr Tim Nda Diche, Politician, Businessman, Philanthropist and a Community developer, has won this years The Nigerian Post Newspaper man of the year award.
The Outstanding Lawmaker award for the year also goes to Hon Buba Jubril based on his impact to his constituency from 2011-2015.
The award is to be presented at the10th edition of the Nigerian Post Annual Public Lecture with the theme: Kogi A New Era, Challenges and Prospects, which would come up on Thursday, 14th April 2016.
Other organizations like West African ceramics, Karienat and Engr Musa Kareem Automobile, Delex ventures, Treasure Bakery and Multilife Drinks would be honored for quality product and job creation.
Media organizations like the Confluence Cable Network, Kogi reports and Igala arise/City gist magazine are some other nominees to be honored with certificate of distinction for excellence.
Gov Yahaya Bello, Kogi State Governor is expected as the special guest of honor at the occasion.
The public lecture would hold at the conference hall of the State NUJ at 10:00am.
Council Chairmen of Ogori Magongo, Igalamela/ Odolu, Bassa, Lokoja are also nominees for outstanding Chairmen award in the North Central region.
The Nigerian Post Newspaper, circulates within the North Central Region of Nigeria, usually holds annual public lectures where contemporary issues that help shape governance and the society are discussed, normally produces a communique that serves as road map, would this year attract personalities from across States of the federation for this year’s lecture series.
