#KogiDecides: 2000 PDP Members in Lokoja Decamps to APC

Over two thousands registered members of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in lokoja local government of Kogi state including two serving senior special assistant to Governor Idris Ichalla Wada defected to All progressives Congress (APC) yesterday.

 

 

The exercise which took place I Lokoja had in attendance Arch Buba Jubril, member house of representatives. Hon. Haruna Issa APC local government chairman received the new members  into the APC.

 

 

He assured them equal chance in the party and urged them to work hard to ensure the victory of the party in 21 November governorship election in the state.

 

 

“Kogi state and its people are lucky not to have crashed in the hands of our sleeping governor that could not start and commissioned a single projects in over 3 years in office we all have to join hands to flush him out of Lugard house with our votes”

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Hon Umar Ahmed Imam thanked the people of the for their large turn out and appealed to them to turn out on election day to vote out Governor Wada from Lugard house.

 

 

Former Special Adviser to Governor Wada, Hon Shaban Ohinoyi called the people to come out to exercise their civil right by voting for APC candidate to safe Kogi people from imminent collapse.

 

 

Earlier the APC chieftain in the area and member representing Lokoja/Koto federal constituency Hon Buba Jubril thanked the defectors and assured that of more dividend of democracy.

 

 

He then announced that over ten million naira has been earmarked for women empowerment programme and an additional five million naira will be released for the same purpose in January 2016.
