The resort to peddling of lies by Prince Abubakar Audu, the APC Governorship candidate Campaign Committee spokesperson, Joel Odaudu, all in his attempt to discredit the administration of Capt Idris Wada administration has been described as a desperate tactics of a drowning man.

Media Assistant online to the Kogi State Governor, Ochada M. A, stated this while reacting to claim of alleged appointment of several aides and the wasting of N1.2billion by the governor on the aides in the last one week.

Ochada, described the second term ambition of Capt Wada as one borne out of the need to consolidate on the gains made by the Wada administration in the last three and half year in all sectors of the state, said the second term project unlike the third term ambition of the APC candidate is driving by the good people of the state, who are appreciative of the peace and development that pervades the state.

Mr Ochada described the rejection of an appointment letter by Godwin Edime, as one that came after frantic lobbying and outright disturbance to be a Special Adviser position for many years.

While it is important to state that Capt Wada’s administration remains one in the country with a manageable size number of appointee, the governor does not have 3000 aides as alleged. It is to the credit of Capt Wada, that he maintains a world class team of aides, whose credentials have assisted in the attainment of the transformation agenda.

It is therefore no surprise that the Prince Audu Campaign organization is acting true to its type of a campaign knowing that has lost touch with reality having flashbacks of his regime that was overloaded with slaves called appointees that had to worship the emperor for peanuts he handed over to them as wages whenever his ego wishes.

The signs of an overwhelming victory for Capt Wada is no doubt sending fears down the spine of the Audu camp, thus rather than accept the reality that he would be rejected for the fifth time, his effort now is now geared towards attempt to distract the people from the real issues of the campaign.

For the electorate in Kogi State the issues in the November governorship election is about choice between honesty and falsehood, a choice between tyranny and good governance, a choice between phantom and world class projects.

From the East, West and Central Districts of the state, it is now clear that Kogites are once again set to reenact their serial rejection of Audu come November 21 by voting for Capt Idris Wada and the PDP.
