The tricycle/Keke riders from across the state under the aegis of the Kogi State Threewheelers Riders Association gathered in Lugard House to endorse Capt. Idris Wada for a second term in office.
The association declared that it remained the largest employer of labour in the state and will translate their numerical strength into votes in favour of Capt. Wada.
The state Chairman of the association, Ibrahim Soladoyin, today, made this declaration in Government House Lokoja in support of Capt. Idris Wada.
In his speech, Soladoyin said the association came to the decision to support Capt. Wada after a series of meetings.
“Your Excellency, we have the blessing of the Executives and general members of our association in the state to re-endorse your candidature for the forthcoming governorship election,” he said.
Speaking, the Governor lauded the association, its leadership and members across the state for identifying with him.
“My government will soon provide your association with land to build the office you demanded for. In the same view, we shall provide soft loans to your members to encourage them in their endeavours”, the governor said.
