This situation, he further stated, has caused untold hardship on his people’s socio-economic life and therefore, seeks the indulgence of the House to resolve that the State Government do direct the Ministry of Rural Development to supply a unit of 500KVA Transformer to Oboroke-Eba Ward behind Ohu-Oweyi in Okehi LGA to alleviate their sufferings.
The Motion was seconded by Hon. Godwin Osiyi, Member, Ogori-Magongo Constituency.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Momoh Jimoh Lawal applauded the mover of the Motion and directed the Clerk of the House to do a letter to His Excellency conveying the House resolution accordingly.
In another Matter of urgent importance brought to the floor of the House by Hon. Kekere Sanni Abdulkareem, the Member who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Education expressed displeasure over the Primary School Teachers demonstration shown on Channels TV and how it is unhealthy for both SUBEB and the State Government.
