?Head Coach of Kogi United FC, Yomi Elijah has disclosed that alot of positives have been gained from his side’s 0-3 loss to Nigeria Under-23 side, Dream Team adding that the match will male his team better for the league.?
?The Confluence State club played goalless in the first half but conceded the three goals in the latter half as the lost composure.?
?Elijah who thanked the management for organizing the friendly said the experience and lesson learnt from the game would aid Kogi United to get better in the season.
?We thank God for the match, we are trying to build our team against new season, I’m not too perturbed about the score line, they (Dream Team) are not too superb more than us, but its a good match for us, we were able to look at where we made mistakes, and we will go back home to correct them, you can see it was goaless in the first half, and those goals we conceded we from little mistakes, so by the time season will start, I’m sure we will a better team for the season,” Elijah said.
?Coach of the Dream Team, Samson Siasia who expressed satisfaction with the match noted that it has really exposed his defense which he will hope to work on.?
?The Dream Team have since depart for Brazaville, Gabon on Wednesday for the first leg of All African Games qualifier.?
