The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has threatened to take the police to court over the indiscriminate arrest of its members in the state.

The PDP Youth Vanguard who stated this yesterday in Lokoja while addressing newsmen said the indiscriminate arrest of its members in Ajaokuta Local Government area of the state, was political as it emanated from a petition written by Muhamed Sadiq who lost the party’s House of Representatives ticket in the November primary election.

“The PDP national Youth Vanguard will like to use this medium to draw the attention of the Inspector General, Suleiman Abba and the state Commissioner of Police to the indiscriminate arrest of some PDP members in Ajaokuta Local Government on the strength of a petition said to have been written by one Muhammed Sadiq, House of Reps member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, alleging the kidnap of his mother.”
