The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State has inaugurated a 10-man reconciliation and integration committee.
Inaugurating the committee yesterday, PDP chairman, Comrade Hassan Salau, said the party cannot afford to lose the state to the opposition.
Comrade Salau told the committee that the PDP in the state has no anointed aspirant and should therefore not be carried away by sentiment.
He charged the committee to work for victory and ensure cohesion of members and total mobilisation of people of the state for President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP.
The chairman also announced the lifting of suspension on some members of the party.
The committee has Dr Sule Odoma as chairman and Bamidele Suru as secretary.
