Wada’s Administration Interested in Welfare of Every Community in The State – Awoniyi

Kogi State Government says it is resolutely committed to ensuring that every community in the state experiences the presence of Government.

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, stated this when he received in audience, the Akumaron Community, from Yagba – West LGA, in his office.

Awoniyi, described the present administration of Capt Idris Wada as one that is resolved in ensuring equity, fairness and justice, assured that the present administration places importance to the welfare of every community in the State.

The Deputy Governor noted that the present administration of Gov Wada is masses rented and has the interest of all communities in the State at heart, promised that he will communicate all the request of the community for essential amenities to Governor Idris Wada.

Awoniyi assured that there request for electricity, road, bridge and school will be looked into, urged them to continue and not to waiver in their support for the Capt Idris Wada administration.

Earlier in his address, Chief James Dada Ogunyanda, the Obalohun of Okoloke, whose message on behalf of Akumaron Communities was read by Chief Jide Abolaji, said the community remained the only community in Yagba – West LGA yet without electrification.

Chief Ogunyanda also solicited the rehabilitation of the road linking Abewo in Akumaron land to Odo – Ere.

The community also requested the employment of its youths and political appointment for its people and commended the State Government in the timely intervention during the land dispute between Egbe and Akumaron in 2012, and assured of their loyalty to the present administration
