Kogi Commissioner Seeks Inclusion of Financial Literacy in School Curriculum

Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Mrs Grace Elebiyo, has called on the Federal Government to include financial literacy in the secondary school curriculum.

The commissioner made the call yesterday in Lokoja during the Financial Literacy Day lecture organized by the United Bank for Africa in collaboration with Bankers Committee of CBN,  for students.

She said financial literacy, if included in secondary school curriculum, will help students to understand financial matters better.

Also speaking, Governor  Idris Wada commended the United Bank For Africa for partnering the state through the donations of instructional materials and computer accessories to schools.
