Kogi State Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, gubernatorial candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu, has pledged that arrears of salary and allowances being owed workers and pensioners in the state would be paid within three- month of his assumption in office, he said efforts would be made to address other issues affecting the worker working environment in order to affect their efficiency.
Audu made this known during the ACN Zonal rally this week.
The ACN flag bearer implored his supporters to guard their votes by ensuring that the results were properly documented in the appropriate sheets before leaving the polling stations, warning them that they should beware of greek gifts.
Barrister Henry Ojuola, Audu’s deputy and serving House of Assembly member, posited that “peace, welfare and happiness of the people constituted the focal point of ACN”.
He stressed that the opportunity has present itself once again for the electorate to decide how they should live by voting the right people who have the feeling of the masses at heart.
The flag off which saw heavy turnout of the party faithful across the state, saw the party’s state chairman, Alhaji Haddy Ametuo, urging the electorate to vote wisely for the state to harvest dividends of democracy like in the ACN controlled states.
