The attention of highly revered Chiefs of Ilajo Royal family extraction has been drawn to the above caption purportedly signed by Mr. Aledare Emmanuel Ayo, Kogi West APC Zonal Chairman.
Ordinarily, we won’t have given the malicious and hostile write – up any attention, but due to the fact that the highly respected name of the family was mentioned – it is, expedient of us to lay bare the facts and set the records straight.
As the 2027 election fever draws closer, every eligible candidate ought to be up and doing by canvassing votes from the electorate, and Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi shouldn’t be an exception.
Prior to this time, Senator Sunday Karimi had made consultations within and outside Kabba. It is on record that he had visited Oba of Odolu palace, Col. Abayomi Dare and host of others in Kabba. During the course of these visits, no eyebrows was raised by Aledare Emmanuel.
Why does the APC Zonal Chairman now think it is the right time to question the rationale behind the visit of DSSK to Ilajo Royal family? This act of selected justice and perceived hostility against the family by their own son is condemnable and unfathomable, to say the least.
In any electioneering process, whatever can be done to have an edge over your opponents is said to be fair and just.
From all indication, DSSK have only legitimately canvassed for votes devoid of name – calling, political mudslinging or character assassination.
What is however baffling is that the same character was part of the stakeholders who shared from the largesse Senator Sunday Karimi tagged “Okada money” in spite of the fact that he was never part of the meeting!?
How can you privately share from DSSK’s largesse to the family and later come out publicly to castigate him like a saint? All these are begging for answers!
All the allegations made by Mr. Aledare Emmanuel can’t be substantiated in the court of law because he was only relying on speculations and conjectures.
As a family, we strongly advise Mr. Aledare to sort out his political differences with Senator Sunday Karimi.
Our family is renowned globally as a respected and highly dignified one – we won’t entertain any personal affront that is deliberately intended to drag the name of the family in the mud for political gains.
