Vice President Kashim Shettima has visited Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa and his family to condole with them over the death of his father, Alhaji Mohammed Alfa.
The Vice President’s visit provided an opportunity to personally share in the family’s grief and offer words of comfort at a difficult time.
Senator Shettima prayed for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, have mercy upon him and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.

He also prayed for the family, asking Allah to grant them patience, strength and comfort as they come to terms with the loss of their father and patriarch.
In offering words of comfort, the Vice President referred to the Qur’anic reminder:
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”
“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”
(Qur’an 2:156)
The Vice President prayed that Allah make the deceased’s grave a place of peace and light, accept his good deeds and grant him a place among the righteous.
He further prayed that Allah reward the family for their patience and give them the strength to continue with faith despite the pain of their loss.
Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa and members of his family expressed their deep appreciation to the Vice President for the visit, prayers and kind words of encouragement.
The family said the gesture was deeply appreciated, particularly at a time when the loss of their father remains fresh.
Alhaji Mohammed Alfa was recently laid to rest, with family members, political leaders, friends and associates continuing to pay tribute and offer condolences.
The family prayed that Almighty Allah forgive Alhaji Mohammed Alfa, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and give everyone he left behind the strength to bear his loss.
