The Onyi Ododo Forum in New Zango, Adavi Local Government Area, held its weekly meeting to mobilize grassroots support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and canvass votes for the party’s candidates ahead of next month’s local government elections.
The Chairman of the forum, Mallam Musari Salawu, described the forthcoming Kogi State Local Government election, scheduled for October 17, 2026, as a critical mobilization ground for the APC.
Speaking from the forum’s base in New Zango, Mallam Musari expressed strong confidence that the APC would secure victory across all local government polls in the state.
During the grassroots meeting, the forum’s leadership called on members and women leaders to remain united to ensure the emergence of all APC candidates as winners.
Mallam Musari also commended the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for prioritizing the security and welfare of residents across the state.
He prayed for divine guidance and protection for the governor throughout his tenure and beyond.
