The Committee of Friends, Ogaminana, has commended the scholarly achievement of Professor, Engineer Abdulrahaman Salawu Asipita, Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, following his delivery of the 133rd Inaugural Lecture at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

Delivering the lecture titled “Nature to Nature: The Miracle of Materials Longevity,” the professor of materials and metallurgical engineering explored the durability and lifecycle of engineering materials, highlighting how scientific innovation can enhance sustainability through improved material performance and recycling.

He underscored the importance of aligning materials engineering with environmental preservation, noting that nature-inspired solutions remain key to long-term resilience.
