Hon. Muhammed Wazo Receives New Decampees into APC

The opening prayer was offered by the Kuroko ward head, Mallam Isah Bello, who besought Allah to preserve Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels through their endeavors.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), has influenced defectors to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon. Muhammed Wazo received decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kuroko, Adavi Local Government Area, through the Adavi APC Chairman, Hon. Oyibo Banabas, expressing confidence that the opposition has been weakened.

Hon. Banabas added that the good work of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in Kogi State has been a testament and an achievement, paving the way for the opposition to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He further stated that the opposition has collapsed its structure in Kukuro Ward and that its members are fully prepared to work with the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He described the leaders of the decampees, the former PDP Kuroko ward Secretary, Abdulaziz Okaku and Ojo Bello, as very dedicated and committed grassroots mobilizers who have played impactful roles in election victories.

He assured them that they have equal rights with the existing members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and that their interests will be adequately protected.

In separate remarks, the Kuroko Control Group (KCG) was inaugurated at the occasion by the Adavi APC Chairman, Hon. Oyibo Barnabas.

During his inaugural speech, the Chairman of Kuroko Control Group (KCG), Aliyu Timoty promised that they will work beyond Adavi LGA to ensure victory for All Progressives Congress (APC).

The personal assistant to the First Lady of Kogi State, Hon. Okwaraji, commended Hon. Muhammed Wazo and assured the good people of Kuroko that Her Excellency will carry the residents along in the forthcoming empowerment program.
