The mother of the Kogi State Governor, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, has provided financial support to the Onyi Ododo Forum to sustain its ongoing empowerment programmes for members.
The Stakeholder Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Tijani, stated that the Governor’s mother has brought immense joy to the forum. He announced that the group had received ₦1,500,000 and prayed that God will bless the mother of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, throughout her life.
The Chairman of the Onyi Ododo Forum, New Zango in Adavi Local Government Area, Mallam Musari Salawu, commended the mother of the Governor, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, describing her as a pillar of support who understands the plight and suffering of the people at the grassroots.
He added that making a positive impact on others has been her lifelong passion. She has consistently demonstrated that helping others is instinctive and deeply ingrained in her character.
He promised that 12 women leaders will be empowered with ₦50,000 each to boost their businesses, and distributed the remaining funds equally among all other beneficiaries.
The group empowered the families of late members and also recognized the active executives for their hard work and dedication. These presentations were made by Comrade Ibrahim Muhammed Omeiza.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo) presented cash to twelve women leaders and also made the presentation to the thirteenth group, which comprises the Onyi Ododo Forum.
He advised the beneficiaries of the empowerment scheme to utilize the funds judiciously. He also urged other members to remain patient, assuring them that additional phases are currently being planned to accommodate more beneficiaries.
One of the beneficiaries, Ibrahim Hassana Onono, expressed her appreciation to the Governor’s mother for the surprise support she provided during this critical time to help improve their businesses.
She prayed that God would bless the Governor’s mother, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo with abundant success throughout her life and enrich her financially.
