The Ebira’Vonya Women Association, also known as Fancy Women in Politics, has reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots mobilization for the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring its readiness to work towards sweeping victory for the party in future elections across Kogi State.
The group’s Coordinator, Hon. Adinoyi Rukkayat Ajoge, described the association as one of the foremost grassroots political structures in Kogi Central and the state at large, noting that the organization now boasts about one hundred branches dedicated to strengthening the APC’s support base.

According to her, the association, working in synergy with other support groups, is determined to consolidate the party’s dominance and ensure overwhelming electoral victories for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, former Governor Yahay Bello, and other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
She stated that the group’s activities are in line with the vision of the its Captain, the Auditor-General for Local Government, Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege (Fancy), whom she described as a committed party leader and grassroots mobilizer whose influence cuts across youths, women and various demographics in Kogi State.
Hon. Ohunene Rukkayat said following the directive of the Grassroots commandant, Hon. Adabenege, members are to intensify grassroots engagement by promoting the achievements of Governor Ododo’s administration while canvassing support for the APC through issue-based campaigns.
She disclosed that based on the usual custom, the gathering featured the distribution of cash empowerment and relief materials donated by Hon. Fancy to members of the association, urging beneficiaries to remain steadfast and committed to the APC, stating that greater dividends of democracy would follow with the party’s continued success at the polls.
She added that the association’s mission goes beyond winning elections, expressing confidence that its expansive grassroots network would further strengthen the APC’s political dominance across Kogi State.
People at the event described the mammoth turnout as a reflection of the growing influence of the association within the state’s political landscape and its increasing role in grassroots mobilization.
