The Ekinrin Traditional Council, under the eminent leadership of His Royal Majesty, Oba Johnson Kolade Otitoju (Egbo Lona I, the Akinrin of Ekinrinland), in conjunction with the Ekinrin Community National Association (ECNA), led by Hon. Duro Omonola, has congratulated three of its highly distinguished citizens ahead of the upcoming 2026 Ekinrin-Adde Annual Cultural Celebration.
The leadership jointly celebrated the well-deserved recognition, honors, and inductions bestowed upon Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives who is a recipient of the Special Community Development Service Impact Award.
They also congratulated Prince Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, a multiple award-winning journalist, who will be a recipient of the community’s prestigious Grand-Star Award.

Mrs. Olabisi Comfort (Bisi) Ogunleye was congratulated as a distinguished inductee into the revered Omo-Atata Hall of Fame
In a joint statement issued by the community leadership, these choices were described as the ultimate definition of “a square peg in a square hole.”
